Timpanogos Cave
Few days ago, I went to Timpanogos Cave.
Hiking to the entrance of the cave was not long, took less than an hour, but the trail was very steep, and my heart was pounding really hardly.

You could see many layers of rocks.
A little by little, lichen starts to cover rocks, which makes rocks less solid and causes them to break into pieces. But it's a long long way.
It's amazing that trees are still standing in such a harsh condition.
We were finally in the cave. This is an old entrance. (We didn't go into the cave from this entrance.)
A lot of stalactites, which grow in every direction due to the capillary action.
This one looks like a bacon, which my friend said.
It was the first time for me to go into a limestone cave. I've been longing to go there for a long time, and finally I did!
It was just amazing...!
This V-shape means this landscape is pretty much new.
We met a chipmunk again. This guy (or lady?) had an injury, but it didn't seem to bother him (or her).
