A Japanese fall festival, called Aki Matsuri, was held in Salt Lake City yesterday. I wanted to wear my Yukata again, so it was a nice opportunity!

For a loooooong long time, I haven't eaten any fresh fish. We could afford it only on a special occasion. And there was that occasion and I was so happy! In the picture, they were just the rest of the other night, and I was just glad that we had a lot of leftover... ;-)

Wow! Zwetschgen!

Last Monday, I went to Brighton in Big Cottonwood Canyon with my friends for the first time. I was worrying about the weather, but luckily, we didn't get any drop of rain!

It was the first time for me to see him.

After hiking at Wall Lake, we drove to the Mirror Lake, which is located a little further into the mountains.

Last Sunday, we tried another trail in Uinta Mountains. We didn't finish the trail, but hiked just to the first lake, Wall Lake, and hiked around the lake.



It is the view from the other side of the lake.
At this point, the wind stopped for a while, and the reflection was wonderful.

Last Sunday's hiking in Uinta Mountains. The weather was perfect. It was sunny but nicely cool in the mountains. It was a wounderful escape from the heat in the town...!
