Timpanogos Cave

Few days ago, I went to Timpanogos Cave.

Hiking to the entrance of the cave was not long, took less than an hour, but the trail was very steep, and my heart was pounding really hardly.

One of the purposes of this trip was watching the sunrise.

We also went hiking a little to the west side of Salt Flats. Over there, we encountered some of the wildlife.

It was probably a family.
They stared at us, looked like that they were judging if we were harmless or not...

It was a sponge -like rock. There was a small shell in it!

This is my first tomato on my balcony this year! Oh, it's been a long way, and I've been waiting and waiting for that...! Now I'm really looking forward to tasting it!

Self made jam is tastier and more reasonable here in the US, I think. This time I used strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

Zwetschgenkuchen

Last week, I tried to bake a Zwetschgenkuchen (Plum Pie), but it didn't really succeed. So, this time I tried another recipe, which is called "Zwetschgenkuchen nach Thüringer Art"  (Plum Pie à la Thüringen).
